Planning for College Tips
-
Plan to take both SAT and ACT your junior year, at the latest. After taking both, decide which test best meets your academic style and focus on improving on that test.
-
Make a file and keep copies of all test scores mailed to you. You may need to provide them to colleges quickly.
-
Plan to take your test of choice 4 times or more. Taking free entire tests online will count as a test experience. Test scores improve with repeated exposure.
-
Go to bed early, testing makes for a long day. Have your calculator, pencil, snacks, water, and lucky eraser ready the night before. Starting the day flustered is not the best way to begin!
